Denis O’Connor
Financial Crime Expert

A look back over 20 years of the risk-based approach, PEP’s, Basel and how we are doing as AML practitioners.
Denis is a well-known and regular contributor to MLROs.com who always provides incredibly detailed technical content, which looks at situations we all face daily from a new perspective and backs it up with rigorous fact-based research.
His last session for MLROs.com took the FIFA debacle and walked us through the whole situation step by logical step based on thoroughly researched facts. Everyone came away knowing a whole lot more than they started with.
This time Denis will look at the last twenty years of the risk-based approach, and how we are doing with it. Having known about PEP’s for 20 years, how is that progressing in real-world terms, what are we doing right and what are we missing.
Denis is always thorough, often controversial and never a session you want to miss.
